RICE : Catch me if you can

A suivre . . .

After a crazy night to celebrate our first month at Egao no Mori, we could still read on somes faces somme sake's effect. Between some pen mark on face for some and some head in a fog for others (to don't mentioned me), morning stretch were a little bit laboured. But during the morning, work has allowed to say bye to sake and to remove a lot of mud . But it is not an easy way to say Sayonora to sake because in the afternoon, we helped to harvest rice in rice paddies affected by desaster. It was my first time to harvest rice. And i loved every single minute. RICE : Catch me if you can _f0187336_21533350.jpg
What a strange feeling to see where your hangover comes from. I am still wondering : How a plant adorned montains with a majestic green can make a young 21-years-old girl so « Pump it Up » ? (^o^)
Someone asked me about rice in France. And i would say that i admire how japanese give importance to this plant. Rice is everywhere ; in miso soup, in japanese sweets like mochi, in alcool. Rice is etablished into culture as we could see last sunday during ritual ceremony in the shinto shrine close Egao no Mori. I think that even bread is very important in french culture, wheat won't never given same attention such as rice in Japan.
I can't resist, RICE I LOVE YOU, SAKE I ADORE YOU

This sunday Sansonjuku organize the haverst of rice. I am looking forward . . .

To be continued …
